Welcome

My name is Blake Durst, and I offer professional and affordable drum and guitar lessons in the Boise, Idaho area. I am a working musician and have had a life-long study of music, including attending the Berklee College of Music Conservatory in Boston, MA. I believe music lessons are a great way to inspire confidence and a creative spirit in any individual, and I feel privileged to teach vital music skills to aspiring musicians of all ages. I teach many different styles of music, including jazz, classic rock, alternative rock, heavy metal and country.

I have experience teaching children from 6 years old and up, as well as adults. Whether you have no musical experience or are already a musician who wants to sharpen your technique, I provide instruction that is tailor-made to your current skill level and goals. I make the process of learning fun and provide lots of positive reinforcement, allowing my students to move at a pace which is most constructive for their advancement.
